Party Fun In Tenerife

July 27th, 2009 by Horizon News

Celebrating something? Looking for something different?? How about hiring Walk On Water??? The most fun you can have in the water without getting wet! It’s easy!! Honestly! All you need is a pool.

Walk On Water is the latest craze sweeping Tenerife. A 2 meter plastic ball is inflated with you in it and then launched onto a pool – then you just start walking! Supposedly!! It is not as easy as it looks, but you can have great fun trying, and you could be one of the few who take to it it like erm, well a duck to water! If your pool is big enough, the team can use two balls at a time for races, gladiator wars – whatever you want!!

Walk On Water is already available in some hotels on the island, Club Olympus Resort in Las Americas has the Balls every wednesday from 3.00pm and non residents of the resort are all welcome.

You can hire the team for your party. As long as your guests are all over 5 years old, you can have a party with a difference. For more information call 922 711 445 or 650 723 853 or email anagram51@hotmail.com.

Have a look at some more images on flickr!

* If you are considering using the pool of a private complex, you will need to get permission from your president.

Palm Air – A Proper Budget Airline

July 27th, 2009 by Horizon News

We are all used to, and thoroughly fed up with so called “Budget Airlines” offering low cost fares to sunny climes. But, by the time you have added taxes and have cheek to want to take luggage with you on holiday, low cost is just about the last descrption you would use.

All this is about to change. PalmAir, who fly from Bournemouth have launched a service you could only expect in the good old days. Firstly you are allocated a seat at check in. Hurrah!! No more desperate panics trying to sit with your loved ones. You are also permitted to take luggage and other essentials of up to 20kg without added cost!!!! Incredible!! Better still, this airline will even feed you!!!!!!! All of this is included in the cost of your flight, even airport taxes and other service charges.

With prices from as low as 59.00 Sterling to Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote this is surely a “Budget Airline” worth considering.

Quick sale property available in the Canary Islands

July 20th, 2009 by Horizon News

For all investors in the know, a recession can be the best time to buy property, with people having to sell properties they bought in easier times. In a full-blown recession, properties are repossessed and sellers who are desperate to move take almost any offer they can get, therefore prices drop.

Now anyone with funds can cash in and buy apartments and villas for a fraction of their value, safe in the knowledge that their investment can only increase. As the worst of the current recession is over, banks are begining to lend again so investments of this kind are now a good option before property prices settle again, and people begin to get their confidence back and are in a position where they no longer have to sell.

Are Jordan’s Boys Playing Away??

July 13th, 2009 by Horizon News

Is recently separated Katie Price about to lose two more of her playmates??? Ex (?) boyfriend Scott Sullivan and friend Yianni Melitsis of DPM ( de puta madre), international D.J. with residency in Athens, Brighton and playing Ibiza this summer, have been spending the past week in Fuerteventura scouting out locations for a new home on the gorgeous island with Horizon Property Group.

Not only have the best buddies been house hunting, they sampled the surf big style when they played long and hard at Str8up Surf School, the best surfing club in Fuerteventura. Scott has been friends with the owner, Danny Seales, ex British windsurfing and kite surfing world champion, for years so the guys spent a huge amount on time catching up and playing on the waves.

Was this just a holiday to get away from poor Katie, or the start on new beginings? Only time will tell…..
