Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands, has again been chosen to host the fantastic El Corte Ingles 2008 Car Rally. Run over two days, 18th and 19th of April the cars will cover a distance of over 600km over many different types of terrain from mountainous ranges to high-speed dirt tracks and promises to be a treat for all speed freaks everywhere.

Over 100 rally teams are expecting to compete and visitors will have a chance to watch this annual event as well as sample the delights that Gran Canaria has to offer as the race goes through spectacular areas of Tejeda, Vallesco and San Mateo.
