Tony Blackburn Joins Tenerife Radio Station

Only the biggest and the best get to make it onto Oasis FM, Tenerife’s most popular radio station, and continuing this tradition, they have signed up Tony Blackburn THE legendary DJ and TV personality for his own show – Soul and Motown Show.

On January 23rd 2010 Tony Blackburn will launch his career in the Canary Islands and will be listened to by visitors and residents alike. The show will be the perfect way to get the weekend party really started.

To say his is well known in a massive understatement, his career spans 45 years  he has worked with some of the biggest Soul and Motown artists the World has ever known, to say nothing of his appearance on I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out Of Here in 2002.

Tony will be on air every Saturday from 5pm til 8pm, and you can expect all the great artists in Tony’s personal record collection to be played out. The show is a playlist free zone so everything that Tony and his audience loves will get played – both oldies and new stars from Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, to JLS,and  Lemar… the list goes on and on.
Make sure you tune in to Oasis Fm and groove on down!

    This show is recorded from England, it’s on lots of UK stations. Typical Oasis, the station was off air for the first show! Quality!!

    I gave up on Oasis ages ago. WAY to much talking and it’s hard to hear even outside the studio!! Coast FM is a much better listen on 89.2. Shame they have no signal around Adeje.

    Oasis FM have been off air for over a month now. Think they have gone bust.

    Oasis FM have been experiencing some technical problems recently with signal interruption, however I understand that the situation has been resolved
